The Chicken & Oats Recipe is low in fat and is made from cage-free, as are the chicken jerky treats, and, as with all the company’s products, they contain no added hormones, processed gluten, wheat, corn, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, according to the company. The formula also comes in small, moist 2 oz chicken jerky treats for cats made by Catswell.

The Chicken & Oats Recipes feature fresh chicken as the main ingredient, and combine fresh fruits and vegetables, functional ingredients and chelated minerals for added benefits. According to the manufacturer, the natural sources of glucosamine and chondroitin in the HAPPY HIPS formula for adult dogs help maintain a dog’s healthy joints; and the Vitality blend contains omega-3 and 6 fatty acids and vitamins A and E to help maintain healthy skin and shiny coat.

The Details

Company was founded because…Growing up, Marco had a white German shepherd named Emily that developed hip dysplasia. The difficult and unpleasant experience of giving his dog pills inspired Marco to create a new solution. Marco realized that there were no functional products in the pet world and wanted to apply the concept to pet treats. In 2003, using his vast knowledge in the pet arena, past personal experience and his entrepreneurial background, Marco created Dogswell.

I actually work for a distributor that deals with Dogswell. I am looking at the Biscuits with Benefits right now. They are clearly marked with the American Flag and say "Made in the United States". It is the jerky that's made in China. This article is focusing on the Biscuits. There for there was no miss-information.
