As more pet products enter the market all the time, pet owners may struggle to keep their assortment of products for their pampered pooches organized.

IRIS USA, Inc., a Pleasant Prairie, Wis.-based manufacturer, designs and develops products that bring organization, convenience and comfort to everyday living, says Julie Waidzulis, the pet product category manager for the company.

IRIS USA, Inc. offers a full line of pet products including pet food storage containers, housebreaking and litter products, air travel crates, and cages.

“IRIS is constantly adding new products to draw customers back, time and time again,” Waidzulis says.
 
One of the company’s newest product lines was designed to meet consumer pet food storage needs in the kitchen or pantry. Products in this line include canned pet food drawer storage systems, snack-tight containers, pet supply chests, and airtight dry food storage systems to seal in freshness.

These products are color-coded for pet lovers with multiple types of pets living in the same home. This way, pet owners won’t inadvertently feed dog food to their cats. “Storage has not entered into the pet industry other than dry food storage,” Waidzulis says. “This creates a large, new and needed category within the pet industry.”
 
While IRIS has operated out of the U.S. since 1999, IRIS Ohyama, the parent company located in Sendai, Japan, has successfully been selling pet products for more than 20 years. The company also has a second manufacturing/distribution facility in Mesquite, Texas.
