Offering a full line of pet-themed jewelry and giftware for pet owners and animal lovers
By Leila Lotfi

Little Gifts keychain
LittleGifts' keychains are the number two best selling pet-related product in gift stores across the U.S.
New York-based manufacturer, LittleGifts Inc., has become a full-service jewelry and giftware manufacturing company since its creation in 2000.

Rishi Gupta and Dan Troiano, chief executive officers of LittleGifts wanted to start their own business while filling a void in the gift industry.

LittleGifts created a pet-themed division in 2003, offering a full line of jewelry and giftware including charms, bracelets, collars, key chains, bookmarks and most recently, ID tags.

“It was a natural fit as we kept growing the business,” says Gupta.

Pet-themed gifts and accessories appeal to animal lovers everywhere according to the company.

The company’s handcrafted products’ collection includes:

  • Breed-specific key chains for the 50 most popular dogs
  • Cat, horse and bird-themed key chains
  • Animal-themed bookmarks
  • Sterling silver charms, necklaces and bracelets
  • Crystal collar charms
  • Breed-specific cell phone charms

LittleGifts’ key chains are the number two best  selling pet-related product in gift stores across the U.S. says Gupta. Key chains are sold in more than 9,000 retail outlets.

The jewelers behind LittleGifts have more than 20 years of design and manufacturing experience.

Little gifts tracking system
LittleGifts' newest product, ID Tags, provide pertinent, real time information for pets.
“We pride ourselves on our detail in our charms,” says Gupta.

At Global Pet Expo in February, LittleGifts unveiled its newest product, ID tags, which will be available in May.

“We’re pretty revolutionary when it comes to ID tags,” says Gupta. “Our tags offer the best quality in the industry by far.”

Each tag has its own unique serial number, making the tag as unique as the dog itself.

ID tags provide pertinent, real time information, allowing owners to change information as it happens without having to replace the ID tag. With 24/7 online access to owner profile and pet data, owners can log on to the website and change information as needed.

“If a pet is lost, you can log on the website and send out an instant alert to local shelters for a missing pet,” says Gupta. “Because it’s a broadcast alert, all of the basic information is available even if the tag is lost or misplaced.

Local shelter lists are e-mailed to the owner as well as SMS text message alerts. The website also allows owners to list multiple contacts for maximum protection, images, rewards and video.

Future plans for LittleGifts include pet-themed paper products including sticky notes, frames and luggage tags.

“Key chains are our most popular pet-themed product, but ID tags will soon be the leader,” says Gupta. “We have the highest return on investment for stores over any gift product in the industry.”  <HOME>
