The Details

Company was founded because…: As people who live in an apartment with two dogs, Simone and I constantly faced toileting issues—when they need to go to the toilet at inconvenient times. Any accidents on my balcony would rot the wooden surface. And if we were out of the apartment for more than a few hours at a time, we would worry about the carpets should the dogs not be able to hold on. Out of need for both the dogs and ourselves, we decided there must be a better way. We were in need of a permanent, hygienic solution to the problem and realized that our situation was shared by many others. After a couple of years working with industrial designers, dye makers, injection moulding specialists, Veterinarians, obedience professionals, animal behaviourists and patent attorneys…The Pet Loo was born!
