Petland Mexico opened its first store in Mexico on Feb. 19, according to Petland Inc., a franchise operation with more than 200 retail pet centers located across the U.S., Canada and abroad.

Petland Mexico master franchisors, brothers Moises and Dan Harari, serve as operators of the pet store, which is located in Mexico City. Brian Winslow, regional operations director of Petland Inc., said the store’s operating system is the most similar to the United States’ system out of all of Petland’s international locations.

Petland Mexico plans to open more Petland retail locations in Mexico City in 2009. <HOME>
