Contech Co-Founder Dies at 68

Klaus Djukastein, co-founder and former chairman of Contech Electronics, died in January after a lengthy illness.

Djukastein, who founded the company with his son Erik in 1987, retired from the company in 1999 after being diagnosed with a Parkinson's-like condition.

Djukatein's inventions include the patented Scat Mat, a behavior modification device that has sold more than 300,000 units.
