Old Mother Hubbard of Lowell, Mass., appointed Michael Meyer as its chief financial officer. Meyer has been asked to develop and implement a financial strategy for rapid growth, the company announced today.
Specific responsibilities include finance, accounting, legal, sales and operations planning and information technology.
Previously Meyer served as a financial consultant to Claygo Inc., a designer and manufacturer of high-end ceramic items for the home furnishings market and Sentinet Jet Inc., a private jet membership company.
From 2001 until 2003, Meyer was chief financial officer for Marketmax Inc., a technology firm that provides finanical and inventory planning product to grocers and other retailers.
