Contech Electronics of Victoria, British Columbia, appointed Mark Grambart its chief executive officer. Grambart also became a major shareholder in the company.
Grambart is now responsible for day-to-day operations, with a focus on accelerating the company’s profitability and growth.
Company co-founder Erik Djukastein will become chairman and chief innovation officer, focusing on new product development to expand the company’s product line.
That line includes ScatMat electronic pet training mat, the ScareCrow outdoor motion-activated animal deterrent and the CatStop ultrasonic cat deterrent
"I am confident with Erik’s enthusiasm and drive focused on expanding our product line, Contech is well positioned for profitable expansion," Grambart said. "In my new role as CEO, the target is to speed up growth through accelerating organic sales, exploring private labeling opportunities and acquiring complementary companies."
