The European Pet Organisation (EPO) held its AGM recently at Interzoo, with all members of the board being re-elected. This stability and experience should help when it comes to discussions affecting the pet trade in this important trade zone. Board members were also happy with the outcome. Janet Nunn, chief executive of the UK’s Pet Care Trade Association (PCTA), will continue as EPO’s vice president.
“I am delighted to be re-elected as vice president and look forward to working with my European colleagues for a further two years,” Miss Nunn said. “The EPO is the body under which national pet trade organizations in Europe collaborate to strengthen their position on European and international issues through its contact with the European Commission and representation at international meetings. I also look forward to being able to continue to represent the interests of the PCTA members at European level.”
