Memories Made in the Pet Industry

This is my final week at Pet Product News International and Pet Style News. With my “retirement” from BowTie Inc., I hope to volunteer with our local no-kill shelter and capture some freelance writing and editing.

Norman Ridker and BowTie have been extremely good to me in the past seven-plus years, and I will miss all the friends I have made in the company. I will also miss the wonderful retailers, manufacturers and distributors I have encountered throughout the years—many of which have become good friends.

I have worked in education, consumer magazine publishing and cookbook publishing in the past. None of the other positions have been as satisfying as working in this industry. I take with me a ton of memories and hope to continue to keep in touch with many of you. Perhaps we will even meet again in the future.
