Aquatic Life's Ballast and Reflector Retrofit Kits are designed for intermediate and advanced hobbyists, and come pre-wired to make installation inside canopies easy. The six new Aquatic Life Ballast Kits are available in either two-lamp or four-lamp models and drive 24-watt, 39-watt and 54-watt T5 High Output Lamps. The Kits use pre-assembled components, meaning there is no need for wiring or special tools, the company reports. The ballasts are protected in a powder-coated housing that includes on/off switches, feature triple-seal silicone endcaps designed to protect wires and lamp pins in the most humid environments, and the lamps can be hung close to the aquarium.
