Cricket Pen
Manufacturer: Rolf C. Hagen (USA) Corp.

Brand: Exo Terra

Product Description: Exo Terra Cricket Pen, by Rolf C. Hagen (USA) Corp., is a safe, escape-proof enclosure that comes in two sizes—small, measuring 7 in. x 51/2 in. x 4.3 in. and holding up to 20 adult crickets, and large, measuring 12 in. x 8 in. x 7.6 in. and holding up to 50 adult crickets, the company states. The pen features a specially designed lid with air vents and a hinged door at the top to keep crickets healthy and in the enclosure until they are needed, according to the manufacturer. The black diagonal dispensing tubes are not in the lid, but rather in the walls to make refilling the food and water trays easier and faster, the company reports. The pen is designed to prevent escapes and appeal to a cricket's love of dark spaces. Owners insert the black diagonal dispensing tubes through the walls, crickets enter the tubes, the special end-flap traps crickets inside, and owners pull the tubes out of the self-closing wall opening, the company adds.
