Manufacturer: Kaytee Products

Product Description: Kaytee Products presents edible offerings in its Egg•Cite line. The improved Forti-Diet Pro Health Egg•Cite bird food is a supplement-enhanced food with egg crumbles, and it now contains DHA omega-3, along with prebiotics and probiotics, the manufacturer states. Varieties for canaries, cockatiels, conures, finches, parakeets and parrots are available. The Forti-Diet Pro Health Egg•Cite Egg Treat and Egg•Cite Egg Food Supplement are made with 40 percent real egg and 50 percent real egg, respectively, to provide nutrition and protein, the manufacturer reports. They are extruded items that increase digestibility and palatability, and are pasteurized to ensure the highest levels of freshness and quality, the manufacturer adds. The treats are now available in poly treat bags for larger birds, and the supplement, made for all birds, comes in a reclosable jar.
