Product Description: Central Life Sciences adds insect growth regulators (IGRs) to two Adams flea and tick control products. Adams Flea & Tick Cleansing Shampoo for Dogs, Puppies, Cats & Kittens now contains the effective IGR Nylar, which prevents flea eggs from hatching and larvae from developing into biting, breeding adults for 30 days, the company reports. Adams Flea & Tick Mist with Precor (also an IGR) is formulated to rapidly rid canines and felines of pesky biting fleas, ticks, lice and mosquitoes. One treatment continues to kill flea eggs for four weeks to prevent reinfestation, according to the manufacturer. The shampoo comes in 6-oz. and 12-oz. bottles, and the mist is available in 16-oz. and 32-oz. bottles with sprayers.
