Molded Scratchers
Manufacturer: Rolf C. Hagen (USA) Corp.

Brand: CatIt

Product Description: Rolf C. Hagen (USA) Corp.'s CatIt Molded Scratchers are designed to resemble decorative works of art that a cat can scratch to its heart's content. Made with wide, sturdy bases that keep them stable while in use, the scratchers are covered with a feline-attracting low-shred corn husk and sisal rope blend that cats can sink their claws into, the company reports. Catnip or catnip spray can be added for additional enticement, and for extra stability, pebbles or sand can be placed in the hollow center of the scratchers; artificial plants may also be added for enhanced visual appeal, the company adds. The scratchers come in two designs: Hourglass (shown), which stands approximately 18-in. tall and has a 14-in. base; and Vase, which is 13 1/2-in. tall with a 14-in. base.
