Pet Hub Link
Manufacturer: Pet Hub

Product Description: Pet Hub's Pet Hub Link is a smartphone-scannable pet ID tag that uses QR coding to reconnect lost pets with their owners. A QR code, which is a two-dimensional barcode, is engraved on the tag and quickly read by freely available software on iPhones, Droids and other cell phones; their screens display the pet's webpage on PetHub.com, the company states. One side of the metal tag features the barcode, while the other side has a human-readable website address. Owners can update their pets' online profiles to control what's shown when a tag is scanned with a cell phone, such as contact information, medications, current vaccinations, licenses and pertinent past medical history, the company adds. A Contact Pet Owner button option is also available, and is designed to protect privacy while allowing direct notification to the pet owner.
