Rolf C. Hagen (USA) Corp. offers Exo Terra Silkworms to help owners provide a little more culinary excitement to their pets. The worms are cooked right in the can and have the same nutritional benefits of their live counterparts, according to the company.

Zoo Med Laboratories Inc. introduces changes to its ReptiRock product line. The Corner Bowls fit right in the corner of the tank. They can be used for water or food and are dishwasher safe, according to the company. Three sizes are available.

Barron’s releases “Frogs, Toads, and Treefrogs.” The owner’s manual features information on the origins, anatomy and life cycles of typical frogs, toads and treefrogs, as well as expert advice on feeding, breeding, terrarium maintenance and general care, according to the publisher.

Zoo Med Laboratories Inc. unveils its Naturalistic Terrarium. It features a full front glass door with snap closure as well as a stainless-steel screen top designed to resist corrosion and accommodate a Zoo Med dome clamp lamp fixture or optional light bar. Other features include front and top ventilation, a water-tight base that allows for a water pool on the inside of the terrarium and six power cord and airline tubing exit slots with hold-down clips. Four models are available.

Zilla Products offers Frog Moss, designed to mimic the floor of the rainforest and maintain sufficient moisture and proper humidity. The organic moss material expands and thickens to 12 times its size when hydrated, and retains its level of moisture with a light misting, according to the company.

Zoo Med Laboratories Inc. offers Repti Calcium with or without D3. The calcium powders are milled ultra-fine for maximum adhesion to live crickets or other food items, according to the company. They are available in 3-, 8-, 12- and 48-ounce containers.

Zoo Med Laboratories Inc. offers Natural Cork Rounds, designed for use as hiding places, shelters or plant holders. Natural Cork Flats, designed for use as decorative terrarium backgrounds, are also available. The flats float to accommodate aquatic turtles, newts, aquatic frogs, mudskippers, etc. Small, medium, large, extra-large and jumbo sizes are available.
