Rob Michalek, director of social-purpose impact for Ben & Jerry’s in Burlington, Vt., has been selected as the keynote speaker for The Pet Sustainability Coalition’s third Annual Impact Unleashed Summit, which will be held Oct. 10-11 in Boulder, Colo.
Michalek’s role at Ben & Jerry’s is to ensure that the social mission is "vigorous and effective within Ben & Jerry’s business model and operates at an equal level to the economic and product missions."
The summit is designed for pet industry professionals who are interested in aligning their business with environmental and social impact in order to attract and retain top talent, reduce supply chain risk, increase consumer loyalty and decrease bottom line costs.
"This is the only pet industry event of its kind that provides inspiration, education and tools for success in a rapidly advancing market with strong preference for sustainable, responsible, safe and natural products," said Caitlyn Dudas, executive director of The Pet Sustainability Coalition.
Summit attendees will have access to hands-on workshops and speaker sessions, among other activities. For details, visit here.
