Amazon shoppers can now support animal shelters and rescues by buying from wish lists. Through Amazon’s new Adopt a Shelter Pet page, shoppers can browse each of the organization’s wish list as well as purchase items that they need and get them sent directly to the respective animal shelter and/or rescue, reported Dog of the Day, which is put out by FanSided Network.

Amazon also has AmazonSmile, where shoppers can select a charity and then shop like they normally would. Amazon then donates 0.5 percent of eligible purchases to the chosen charitable organization.

Key sponsors, as listed on Amazon’s website, include Hill’s Pet Nutrition and Nestlé Purina PetCare.
