Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Co. has appointed Ian Anderson as its chief financial officer. The hiring comes at a time when the Monroe, Wash.-based company is embracing “rapid growth,” officials said in a statement.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ian to the Wet Noses team,” said Johnni Rodgers, CEO of Wet Noses. “His expertise will be critical as we accelerate our business operations in the coming years. Ian will be a key partner in taking Wet Noses to the next level in 2021 and beyond.”
Anderson will oversee financial operations and partner closely with the management team and board of directors in establishing, measuring and delivering on the company’s strategic objectives, according to officials. He brings 16 years of proven leadership and management experience across several industries, as well as across both large, multi-national organizations and small, privately-held businesses, officials said. A CPA who began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP, Ian’s expertise includes strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, acquisitions, capital planning and financial management, officials added. He recently served as CFO of two high-growth commercial real estate services companies and a national moving and storage provider. In addition, he held a senior finance leadership role at Amazon supporting the build out of the company’s middle and last mile delivery operations, officials further noted.
“I am incredibly excited and grateful to join the Wet Noses team,” Anderson said. “As pet owners become increasingly conscious of the quality and nutritional profile of what their animals consume, our brand strength and ability to innovate position us favorably to achieve our long-term growth ambitions.”
Wet Noses currently produces private label dog food and treats for leading national retailers, as well as operates under its own Wet Noses, Doggy Delirious and Best Homies brands, which can be found online and at retailers nationwide.
