Woof Gang Bakery is expanding its presence in Las Vegas, opening a third location in October with two additional stores planned for 2021. The specialty pet retail and grooming franchise has more than 130 locations across the United States.
“Our current growth and planned expansion in the Las Vegas market demonstrates our confidence in and commitment to the region,” said Paul Allen, CEO of Woof Gang Bakery, which is based in Orlando, Fla. “Our local franchise owners have generated remarkable success, and they serve Las Vegas customers and their pets in welcoming, neighborhood stores. They have a passion for grooming and they are experts on the wholesome pet foods and quality products that they carry.”
The new Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, located in the Skye Canyon Marketplace, will celebrate its grand opening from Oct. 10-24. Throughout the event, customers can enter to win “pawsome” raffle prizes, including free pet food for a year, free gourmet dog treats for a year, a gift basket with dog toys and a complimentary grooming service at the pet spa.
The new Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Skye Canyon store is owned by Las Vegas residents Chin Li Kuok and Richard Hansen, who also own another Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming in Las Vegas.
“In just three years, they built a successful business and earned the company’s prestigious Millionaire Club status, awarded to franchises with annual gross sales of $1 million or more,” officials said in a statement. “This year, an elite seven Woof Gang Bakery franchises surpassed the million-dollar mark.”
The company’s growth in Nevada is part of a broader western U.S. expansion that also includes recently-opened stores in Boulder, Colo., and Albuquerque, N.M., according to officials.
